Better known as “The Haul Road.” The only way in and out of Pruhdoe Bay other than flying. Everything has to be trucked in; fuel, food, equipment. One truck company did 3,700 roundtrips last year and that’s not even 1/4 of the trips made. The road’s also famous for the show on the History channel “Ice Road Truckers.” The company Carlisle are a bunch of jerks though. I met so many of the trucks and they were at top speed throwing rocks at my truck. I got to a point where I’d play chicken with them or slow to a stop on their side of the road just to get them to slow down a little bit. I must say a big Thank You to Lynden Transport. Their truck were always slowing down and never put my life in danger. Thanks Jered Post for the hook up in Pruhdoe Bay! Got the tour from Jesse, a Washington boy from Moses Lake. Also, thanks for the hookup with Gage, he took me out on his Airboat and it might’ve been one of the coolest things I’ve experienced yet. I’ll post videos of that later. All in all, over 1,000 miles roundtrip and more than 24 hours on the road. One of th greatest trips of all time. Certainly a bucket list adventure. My advise… Rent a car!
Wow nice picture a great adventure.
